Today in “Organizational Strategy and Human Resource Management,” affectionately known as “HR,” we discussed a case wherein candymaker Jacobs Suchard copes with pressure to centralize their operations. A side aspect of the case dealt with job fatigue, and one group suggested that manufacturing management positions be rotated every three years or so in order to ward off ennui. Sergei’s refutation:
